Aerial / Drone Photography

Drone Imaging

Vector Photography provides commercial-grade drone photography and video that gives agents, landlords and marketing teams a sharper, more detailed view of the property they are marketing. The result is aerial content with real commercial purpose, helping present assets with greater context, stronger visual impact and a level of detail ground-based imagery cannot achieve alone.

Commercial drone photography for property marketing

High-Level Detail

Drone photography gives property marketing a level of flexibility, speed and visual control that traditional aerial photography never could. What was once only possible through costly helicopter hire can now be achieved far more efficiently, with greater precision and from angles that are often far more useful for marketing.

For agents, landlords, developers and marketing teams, drone photography is valued because it gives marketing material more authority, more context and a clearer sense of the asset as a whole. It helps show scale, access, surroundings and site layout far more effectively than ground-level photography alone, making brochures, listings and campaign content feel more complete, more persuasive and better equipped to hold attention from the outset.

Vector Photography regularly fulfils briefs for the following requirements:

  • Property Brochures & Sales Particulars
  • Website Banners & Landing Pages
  • Property Portal Listings
  • Social Media Content
  • Launch Marketing & Materials
  • Sales & Lettings Collateral
  • Investor Presentations
  • Pitch Documents
  • Email Marketing
  • Digital Advertising Assets

Aerial Photography vs Drone Photography

Licensed Drone Piloting

Today, the terms ‘drone photography’ and ‘aerial photography’ are often used interchangeably. Those who have been in property long enough may still seek ‘aerial photography’ while newer search behaviour tends to favour ‘drone photography’. In practice, both usually describe very similar requirements; high-level imagery that shows a property more clearly, more completely and with stronger commercial impact.

For agents, landlords and marketing teams, that means property photography that can do more than simply look impressive. It can show setting, scale, access, surrounding context and site layout in a way that supports stronger listings, clearer presentation and more effective decision making from the outset. Thanks to consumer and commercial-grade drone technology these impressive shots have never been more cost friendly.

Our Process

A creative, considered approach, shaped by the site, the surroundings and the brief

Meet the Pilots

Jonathan Emery & Nick Swales

CAA Licenced Drone Pilots

Drone photography usually begins before anyone arrives on site. The property is reviewed in advance, the surrounding area is assessed, and the brief is shaped around what needs to be shown from above, whether that is scale, access, setting, boundaries or wider commercial context. In many cases, this can be planned without physical access, which makes the process quicker and far more flexible than people often expect.

From there, the shoot is approached with a clear view of what is both useful and achievable. Flight conditions, airspace restrictions and the legalities of the location all need to be considered properly, particularly near airports, prisons, sensitive infrastructure or other restricted areas. Jonathan at Vector Photography is a fully licensed and insured drone pilot, so each job is assessed with both the marketing objective and the operational requirements in mind.

Once in the air, the advantage is speed and control. Heights, angles and positions can be adjusted quickly to capture the most commercially useful perspective, often within a relatively short window. After the shoot, the selected imagery is refined and prepared for use across brochures, listings, websites and wider campaign material, giving clients a clean, high-quality aerial set that is ready to work.

Drone video for property marketing, where motion adds more

While the main focus of the service is drone photography, drone video can also be a useful addition where the brief calls for it. In some cases, motion helps communicate approach, setting, scale or site layout in a way that still imagery cannot do quite as effectively on its own.

Where appropriate, drone video gives agents and marketing teams another high-quality asset to work with, helping bring movement, perspective and added production value into the wider campaign.
